While many may consider it trivial, it is just more evidence that the government, especially the federal government, overreaches. Our government is too big. As President Reagan said, the most horrifying statement the average person can hear is, “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.”

We need more rights protecting us FROM the government and from busybodies and meddlers who think they know better!

Here is an easy suggestion, add one word to the first clause of the first amendment, specifically, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of education or religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;”.

That would be the first step in solving lots of our societal problems.

Federal regulations are a greater threat to our country and our lives than anything else, even the debt. If the federal government were not allowed to be so big and invasive and so all-regulating, there wouldn’t be impetuous for so much spending, and the deficit would take care of itself.

Frankly, the most dangerous thing known to mankind today is the EPA (and the USDA in this instance)!
