I happen to hold that rape is worse than murder. Forcing someone, coercing, is always immoral. Murder is almost the ultimate coercion.
I agree with the line of William Money (played by Clint Eastwood) in the movie Unforgiven, “It’s a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he’s got and all he’s ever gonna have.” Rape is just about the same, except the victim lives with it.
